Pulling the factory fender flares on a 1st Gen Tacoma leaves a row of square and rectangular clip holes behind. This set is machined specifically for the 1st Gen's holes and closes them up with CNC-machined aluminum buttons, for a clean, finished look.

Features

  • CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum, made in-house in California
  • Slightly larger diameter, sized for the 1st Gen's larger rectangular holes
  • Square-stem and rectangle-stem buttons fit both factory hole shapes
  • Each button has a button back and a stainless screw for a secure fit
  • Choose a Black anodized or Raw (uncoated) aluminum finish
  • Ships the same or next business day

What's Included

  • A full set of square-stem and rectangle-stem buttons to cover the factory flare clip holes
  • A button back and a stainless screw for each button

Fitment

  • 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma (1st Gen)
  • For trucks with the factory plastic fender flares removed, including trucks trimmed or cut back for larger tires
  • Not interchangeable with the 2nd Gen (2005-2015) set

Install Overview

  1. Remove the factory fender flares and any remaining plastic clips.
  2. Match each hole to a square-stem or rectangle-stem button.
  3. Set the button into the hole from the outside, slip the backer over the stem from behind, and tighten the stainless screw to clamp both pieces to the fender.

Tip: A drop of blue (removable) threadlocker keeps them secure. Don't use red, or they'll be nearly impossible to remove.

Tools needed: 3/32" hex (Allen) key for the #8-32 x 5/16" stainless button head screws

Approximate install time: 10-15 minutes, once the flares are off and the fenders are trimmed.

Raw machined aluminum can show light tool marks, and anodized finishes can vary slightly in shade. These are normal. Questions about fitment? Message us before you order.
